Academic Programs

Fairfax County Public Schools provide a continuum of advanced academic services at the middle school level. Frost offers Level IV advanced placement services. Students that qualify for Level IV Services have the option of attending their neighborhood middle school or attending Frost to participate in the full-time advanced placement program.

Frost offers a number of classes within its Fine Arts program including Drama, Chorus, Orchestra, and Band. Most elementary schools in the area offer band and strings in the 5th and 6th grade. If your child has experience playing they can try out for the intermediate class.

All middle schools in Fairfax County offer French and Spanish foreign language classes. In addition to those two languages, Frost also offers classes in Latin and Italian.

Enrollment

Enrollment at Frost Middle is close to 1250 seventh and eighth grade students. Students transitioning from the following elementary schools, Canterbury Woods, Fairfax Villa, Wakefield Forest, Mantua, Olde Creek, and Little Run will likely be zoned for Frost Middle.

Communities

Students living in Chapel Square, Chestnut Hills West, Mantua, Leehigh Village, Somerset and some other parts of Annandale and Fairfax may be zoned for Frost Middle.

After School Care

After school activities are held Monday through Friday at Frost. There are late buses available three days a week to help your child get home.
